Sunny Sharma, Behavioural Research Director
Sunny is MAGENTA's Behavioural Research Director. Sunny is a global health researcher and insights specialist with over a decade of global experience spanning across the private and social sector. With extensive experience designing and conducting mixed-methods research projects, Sunny specialises in applying qualitative and quantitative techniques in order to bring the table the voices of marginalised communities and those who can influence change. He has led research programmes which have gone on to inform communication campaigns, service delivery and product development across global health, the environment and within gender inequity programs, and regularly speaks at Social Behaviour Change and Global Health congresses.
At MAGENTA, Sunny manages and coordinates our research and monitoring and evaluation activities across our regional teams. In addition to providing guidance on SBC research methodologies to our programmes teams and overseeing quality control, Sunny works to advance MAGENTA's localisation and capacity building with local and international partners. In his role spearheading the MAGENTA Lab, Sunny ensures that our work leverages the latest innovations and approaches in research and monitoring and evaluation.
Sunny holds an MSc. in International Healthcare Management from Imperial College, London.
