Paola Gonzalez, SBC Programme Manager - Latin America
Paola is MAGENTA’s SBC Programme Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. Paola is a development public policy expert with more than 13 years' experience in research and human rights. She has designed and implemented local, national and international multi-stakeholder projects with a particular focus on gender, inclusive education and migration. Paola specialises in participatory research and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects from a human rights perspective. She is also deeply committed to partnering with communities to amplify their voice and empower their agency.
At MAGENTA, Paola designs and manages SBC campaigns and communications strategies from incpetion to close out. She has spearheaded projects across the LAC region addressing safeguarding (UNICEF), social and economic development (UNICEF), prevention of violence against women and children (Creative Associates), and Nutrition (WFP).
Paola holds a Master’s Degree in International Development with a focus on education policy from George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). She speaks native Spanish, fluent English, and conversational French.
