Giulio Vialetto, Programme Officer

Giulio is a Programme Officer at MAGENTA and has over four years of experience leading and managing a variety of projects in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Giulio is a core member of our team, involved in researching, analyzing, designing, and implementing social and behavioural change programs across Africa and Asia.

Before joining MAGENTA, Giulio worked across 14 countries supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of social and behaviour change communication campaigns, capacity-building interventions, and dissemination of materials on humanitarian norms for armed groups and de facto authorities. Giulio also has experience working with a wide range of actors, including civil society organisations, NGOs, governments, and UN agencies, and has experience working in the humanitarian field in emergency situations in Jordan and Lebanon. He has also a strong background in International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, humanitarian advocacy, and refugee-related issues. 

Giulio holds a Master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern studies. He also holds a Diploma in International Cooperation and Development from ISPI School. He speaks English, Italian, French, and intermediate-level Arabic and Spanish.
