Giulio Vialetto, Programme Officer

Giulio is a Programme Officer at MAGENTA and has over three years of experience leading and managing a variety of projects in Asia and the Middle East, including Afghanistan. Giulio is a core member of our Asia team, involved in researching, analyzing, designing, and implementing social and behavioural change programs across the region.

Giulio has worked across 14 countries supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of social and behaviour change communication campaigns, capacity building interventions, and dissemination of materials on humanitarian norms for armed groups and de facto authorities. Giulio also has experience working with a wide range of actors, including civil society organisations, NGOs, governments, and UN agencies, and has experience working in the humanitarian field in emergency situations in Jordan and Lebanon. He is also experienced in IHRL; IHL, humanitarian advocacy and refugee related issues.

Giulio holds a Masters degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po and a Bahelor’s degree in Language, Culture, and Society of the Middle East and North Africa. He also holds a Diploma in International Cooperation and Development from ISPI School. He speaks English, Italian, French, and intermediate level Arabic.
