Julienne Corboz, Associate Network
Julienne Corboz is a research, evaluation and capacity building consultant with more than 20 years of work experience. She is a gender expert specialising in violence against women and children, women, peace and security, and gender inclusive education. She has worked across multiple geographical regions, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected settings, including in South Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Northern Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Julienne is a mixed-methods researcher and evaluator, with strong technical skills in experimental and non-experimental approaches, and quantitative, qualitative and participatory methods. She has accompanied UN agencies, NGOs and government organisations in the design and evaluation of violence prevention programming and has been a Technical Advisor on both phases of the UK Aid funded What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls Global Programme. She has worked across a range of different interventions, including school-based, faith-based, social and economic empowerment, and community social norms violence prevention interventions.
Julienne has a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Melbourne, is currently based in Spain and speaks fluent Spanish and Intermediate French.
