Mustafa Lami, SBC Programme manager
Mustafa Lami is a Campaign manager based in MAGENTA’s Erbil office. Mustafa leads the strategic design and implementation of multi-media SBC campaigns across a range of thematics such as health and access to services, climate change and adaptation, family planning and gender-based violence. He is also a core member of the MAGENTA Academy where he delivers capacity building and skills development training to actors in governments, local and international NGOs, development agencies, and the private sector. Mustafa's areas of expertise include project and campaign management, gender advocact, capacity building and training, content creation, communication and strategy, and client and stakeholder management.
Working in collaboration with development and government partners, Mustafa has 12 years' experience in designing, implementing and managing complex and sensitive campaigns throughout Iraq. He specialises in combining strategic approaches with fine arts and design to produce high impact and targeted campaigns and communications strategies. Mustafa has worked at some of Iraq’s most prominent media houses and managed campaigns with leading international SBC consultancies.
Mustafa studied Fine Art at the University of Baghdad and has a diploma in Human Rights from the American University in Sulaymaniyah. He is a native Arabic speaker, fluent in English and Farsi.
