Safouen Azouzi, Programme Officer

Safouen is a Programme Officer at MAGENTA. He provides programme support on social and behavioural change research and communications projects across the Middle East, North and West Africa. Since joining MAGENTA, he has worked on early childhood development, capacity building, immunization, and explosive ordinance risk education. Safouen is also a core member of the MAGENTA Academy where he delivers capacity building and skills development training to actors in governments, local and international NGOs, development agencies, and the private sector.

Safouen has 6 years' experience in research, consulting, and programme mangagment, working on projects spanning a range of thematic areas including migration, anti-terrorism, and the environment.

Safouen holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the Higher Institute of Human Sciences in Tunis. He is a native Arabic speaker, fluent in French and English, and has intermediate Spanish language skills.
