Valentina Bollenback, MAGENTA Associate

Valentina is a media and strategic communications expert with over 12 years' experience working with the UN, INGOs and various governments. With a particular focus on development and humanitarian issues, Valentina has supported organisations and governments on a range of programmes including behaviour change campaigns, media handling and crisis communications. She has worked in a wide-range of emergency contexts in senior roles that cut across the campaigns, communications, information-management, PR and media functions.

She has spearheaded strategic communications assignments in Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India and provides advisory support to the development of content in a wide variety of other contexts.

Valentina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History of Africa and the Middle East from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She speaks English, Italian, and French.
